Supporting Our Community
The Appalachian Team is from this community. We work in this community and believe in being an active part of what makes it such a great place to call home. Beyond is where we share some of the ways we’re connecting with our neighbors, supporting local businesses, telling local stories, and enjoying the people and places that make East Tennessee home.
Troy’s Appalachian Trail Story
For Troy, the Appalachian Trail is more than the inspiration behind our name—it’s part of his own story. In his book, Troy shares his experiences on the AT, the lessons he learned along the way, and how the journey shaped his perspective on adventure, people, and home. If you’d like a copy, Troy will happily deliver in the local area. $18
Local Brew with Peaceful Side
Do we seem like the type of people you’d like to have a beer with? That’s the point. That’s what we want to be, and that’s why we are happy to bring a few pints your way.
We partnered with Peaceful Side Brewery to create Appalachian Team branded beer that’s a fun way to celebrate our shared love for this community and raise a glass with the people who call it home. We currently have a Golden Ale called Appalachian Team Beer. If you would like to try a 4-pack, Troy will deliver in the local area to those 21 or older!
Coffee & Conversation at Vienna
Sometimes the best connections happen over a cup of coffee. Our quarterly coffee meet-ups are a chance to get out of the office, catch up with neighbors, talk about what’s happening around town, and simply spend time with the community we’re fortunate to serve. Please join us on – and check back for more dates!
